University of Portsmouth (UoP) is a public comprehensive university located in Portsmouth, England. As a member of the Commonwealth University Association and the European University Association, the university is distinguished for its academic excellence and diverse programs.
It comprises five faculties: the Faculty of Business and Law, the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Health, and the Faculty of Engineering. The university offers a wide range of degree programs, from bachelor's to doctoral degrees, covering over 430 distinct fields of study.
Following its transformation into a comprehensive university in 1992, UoP has grown into one of the largest universities in the UK.
