  •        The Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI) is a premier educational and research institution dedicated to advancing the fields of agriculture and marine science in the Bahamas. 

           Established in 2014, BAMSI aims to enhance food security, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and support the conservation of marine ecosystems. Located in North Andros, the institute offers a range of degree programs and vocational training in areas such as horticulture, aquaculture, environmental science, and resource management.

           BAMSI aims to cultivate a dynamic experiential learning environment for agricultural and marine sciences and related disciplines that is student-focused, environmentally friendly, science-based, sustainable, technologically driven and services the needs of the Bahamas. In addition to education, the institute conducts vital research to address challenges facing the Bahamian agriculture and marine sectors, contributing to policy development and community outreach.
