Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU), now known as Nelson Mandela University, is a multi-campus public university located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Founded in 2005, the university is named in honor of the renowned anti-apartheid leader and former president, Nelson Mandela.
